Yulia Brodskaya

I have found a typography artist from russia, who is now working in UK

Here are some of her designs.

Her designs are typography made by paper and highly detailed hand-made craft objects. I like the colour and details about her work, every single bits of the work have been delicatedly designed, which makes her work looks very feminine.

Here is her website.

Grand Lisboa

My home town is called Macau, it's one of the two special administration regions in China, the other one is the well known city in Asia, Hong Kong. Macau was both the first and last European colony in China.Portuguese traders first settled in Macau in the 16th century and subsequently administered the region until the handover on December 20, 1999.

Macau's economy is based largely on tourism, much of it geared toward gambling. It is also a city where you can find builidings with a mixed style of European and Chinese culture.

The building that I want to introduce in here is a casino hotel called Grand Lisboa, there are over 20 major casinos in Macau, Grand Lisboa is one of the famous landmark of Macau, it is an iconic building set in the heart of the city, is a testament to extraordinary elegance. With its distinctive location and architectural design, 12 acclaimed restaurants and 24-hour entertainment, the Grand Lisboa has truly earned its reputation as one of Asia's finest casino hotel.

Grand Lisboa (traditional Chinese 新葡京), owned by Sociedade de Turismo e Diversões de Macau and designed by Hong Kong architects Dennis Lau and Ng Chun Man, is a 58-floor 258 metres tallskyscraper. This design is based on the appearance of a lotus flower, as it is a symbol of Macau.

Graphic Airlines

Graphic Airlines is a street art design team from Hong Kong, you can find their "creations" everywhere in HongKong, and these include graffiti, stickers, t-shirts, furniture etc. I like their art because their works are different to most of the others, unlike other pop/street art, they promote the "uglyness" elements from their characters, and bombard the local streets with these iconic characters and slogans.

The characters created by design duo Graphic Airlines champion the "aesthetics of ugly". Tat & Vi, apart from publishing and exhibiting their work since 2006, the pair produces their own design of hand-made products.

Jordan Tree

I love their style of design, especially their illustrations, very positive, modern and clever. Most of their illustrations are based on the Japanese manga style, which make things look cute and eastern. It would be a dream to work in a team like this, fantastic people with great talent and creativity.
